What the GFCI rule is actually saying
Sub-Zero asks for ground fault protection on the outdoor UC-24RO and asks you not to fit it on the indoor models, where the guide says it may interrupt operation. Newer kitchens put every counter outlet on a GFCI, so an indoor cabinet ends up behind one anyway. What that looks like is a refrigerator found warm and dark with nothing wrong inside it, usually after a hot afternoon. It is a supply question, not a refrigeration one, and worth settling before anyone prices a part.
Coming out of an island in Playa Vista
A panel-ready front in a new island tends to be the last thing fitted and the first thing in the way. The order is panel, then kickplate, then the unit forward on its levellers onto board rather than the finished floor. Where a stone top overhangs the opening, the cabinet has to drop before it can travel. None of it is difficult — it is the difference between a repair and a repair plus a joiner.

The condenser fan has gone quiet behind the grille
Air arrives and leaves at the kickplate, and when the fan slows the cabinet holds overnight then gives ground back by mid-afternoon. On an outdoor unit it is fighting sun on the island as well.

The alarm chimes during ordinary use
A chime sounds once a door has stood open longer than sixty seconds, and the alarm ships switched on. Starting during normal use, it is reporting that the door is not reaching its closed position: a shelf loaded proud of the liner, a cabinet that has settled off its levellers, or an alarm somebody set and forgot.
Levelling and obstructions are settled on the visit. Anything at the door hardware itself is identified and reported rather than priced from this list.

Frost forming inside an all-refrigerator
A cabinet sitting at its 38°F preset should not be growing a rind of ice anywhere. Sub-Zero's list starts outside the machine — condenser clean, door closing squarely, nothing holding it ajar — and the defrost side comes next.

Nearly always an indoor unit on ground fault protection the manufacturer does not recommend for it. We establish what the unit is doing and which circuit it sits on; the circuit is an electrician's work.

Why does my undercounter refrigerator only trip the outlet in summer?
Heat. A cabinet works hardest on the warmest afternoons, and that is when an indoor unit on ground fault protection is most likely to drop out, because Sub-Zero does not recommend a GFCI for the indoor models and says it may interrupt operation. Can a UC-24R be worked on where it stands?
Often, yes. The kickplate comes away at the front, and the condenser, its fan and the controls are all reachable from there, which is exactly why Sub-Zero insists the kickplate stays removable and the floor does not obstruct it. Anything further back means drawing the unit out, and that gets decided on the day.
